Live your life like there is no tomorrow. Who knows, for many, tomorrow never comes. How many times have you promised yourself you were going to tell someone about your relationship with Jesus? How many times have you passed up opportunity after opportunity to do just that? Don’t let another opportunity pass you by. God is counting on you. He sent you to tell others in your realm of influence. He gave you a unique story to tell. Nobody else has your story or your specific personality to be able to share this wonderful life you live as a Christian. Sure we are coming under fire. And the truth is that we will be coming under even more fire in the days to come. Life for the Christian is becoming more and more perilous by the day.
Consider the alternative…
“Depart from me you workers of iniquity. I never knew you.”
-God
Don’t let another day go by without sharing the joy of Christ with a stranger. What’s the worst thing that can happen? They could turn Him down. They could laugh or spit in your face for even mentioning His name. You could be thrown in prison or beaten, boiled in oil, shot, beheaded, or maimed.
Consider the alternative…
“You wicked and slothful servant, you knew…and you should have done the least but you didn’t.” And to the angels He says, “Cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness…” -God
Don’t let another shift go by without letting Christ shine through you. Use your own resources to feed a hungry family, put clothes on their backs and invite them to sleep on a spare bed in your home. Bring them in from the cold and wet of discouragement and despair. What’s the worst that could happen? You might go hungry yourself a couple of days till your next payday. You might have to clean up the bathroom behind ungrateful guests. They may even kill you, or hurt you, or rob you of your earthly possessions.
Consider the alternative…
“Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.” -God
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment.
