What is man that You are mindful of him....? (Psalm 8:4a)

And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.

When David was discouraged, he lifted his eyes to the hills as a reminder of His protector (Psalm 121:1,2). When David looked at God's creation, he felt small, insignificant. And yet he marvelled at the fact that the Creator of such wonders loved him with a love unfathomable (Psalm 8).

When Job was in doubt, when he asked God, "Why?" God pointed him to creation. When faced wuth the beauty and enormity of this universe, how can we help but cry with Job, "I know that You can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted." (Job 42:2 Amp)

Let's lift our eyes to the hills, let's meditate on the wonder of God's creation. I hope that in doing so all else will melt away and we will find ourselves bowing before our Mighty Creator Who has such a surprisingly delicate touch.

Looking at spring flowers I hold my creator in such awe at the detail he uses in all his creations. What an awesome God!

My nightly routine was totally disturbed as I usually spend a couple of hours writing and winding down with friends on Facebook before bed.... disturbed sleep, nervous wanderings... hmmm.. perhaps I am addicted :)
