Okay, Sleep heads. The holidays are over and you all must have a true story to tell.

As soon as I have my own laptop back I'll be joining in too.

Now how about it? Who has a Christmas or New Year True Story to share?
Chrissy Siggee Comment by Chrissy Siggee on January 5, 2010 at 12:25am
Oh... Cheri. No commitment is necessary. Just send a True Story to the publisher@thecypresstimes.com whenever you have one ready.

Hi, Chrissy,

This comment is in response to an email query to all True Story members on 12/18. I wouldn't mind having my true stories posted in The Cypress Times. However, I cannot commit to regular submissions until my book is finished, and that must be my first priority in the spring.

Hugs,
Cheri

This is a fun true story.
I remember the Christmas I was three years old. The vivid accounting could not possibly be true--or could it?
As a lively three-year-old, I often woke during the night for a drink of orange juice. My parents soon learned to keep a small glass in the refrigerator for those times when I was thirsty.
It was Christmas Eve and I woke to make the trek to the refrigerator for my OJ. The light from the fridge lit a pathway across the kitchen floor making the darkness not so ominous. Remembering this was Christmas Eve, I quickly drank my juice and set the empty glass back inside the fridge.
On the way to my snug and warm bed, I passed by the Christmas tree and paused for just a moment in front of a large window to gaze up at the starlit sky. To my amazement, Santa in his red and gold sleigh led by eight reindeer flew high above me.
My little heart pounded, and I raced back to bed for fear Santa would stop at my house and find me awake. The next morning, I scrambled from my bed to make sure he’d brought my toys. To my joy, there were the toys I’d wanted.
A child’s imagination for a future writer? Or a magical happening to a

wee child?

We often have problems with the discussion boxes being uncooperative and it's harder still when it's all new to you. Bear with it and don't give up. We look forward to further stories, Anne.

Copy and pasting an article into the discussion box can often help too.

Hi Chrissy and Cheri,
I retyped the story into the discussion box. Unfortunately, I ran out of space and I had to continue on two separate discussion boxes.
I am not very computer literate and this is what caused the problem.

I can't imagine the shock of losing your husband like that, and I am so blessed that God has helped you move on the road to healing. I know it is an ongoing process, but you have taken the first steps. Thank you for sharing your story.

Please do put it in a discussion, so others will see it too.

God bless,
Cheri

Anne, use the + Start Discussion link above this comment wall and follow the directions.

By adding your story to the comment wall it will disappear quickly off the page and will be missed by many and that would be a pity. If you have problems adding the story to the discussion area, send me a private message. - Love Chrissy
