I'm going on a social media fast (at the very least) the first full week of January to seek Him for the new year. I am involved in a lot of intercession outside cyber life and a theme keeps coming up, -ion words. It seems like in 2009 it was a const…

JULIE ARDUINI--THE SURRENDERED SCRIBE

I'm a writer and public speaker living in NE Ohio with my husband and two children.

I'm a contributing author for The Cypress Times.

I have a new website and blog:

More Than A Drink Coaster is my first fiction contribution. This book is available for pre order by contacting Amy Michelle Wiley, The Peculiar People's Project. She is on Facebook.

Photobucket
My story, Who Hung the Moon (Upside Down?) is part of James Stuart Bell's newest release, God Encounters. I was in a high risk pregnancy in a car accident...Click on book cover for Amazon link. Great Christmas idea and read for your own bookshelf!

My snowplow burial story was featured in this book. Kathy Vick was also gracious enough to use my surrender fear story as part of her Run Like a Girl website launch.

I have two stories in Women of Passions: Ordinary Women Serving an Extraordinary God. Proceeds help Heart of God International

Choosing faith after our daughter nearly died is the basis for Buzzard's Roost, included in Lori Wagner's http://affirmingfaith.com/quiltingpatchesoflife.html" target="_blank">Quilting Patches of Life.

Coming Soon:
More than a Drink Coaster featured in Delivered, Peculiar People's Postcard Project

Midnight Surrender, Healing Power of Prayer Guuidepost Compilation book

Other Ministries:
It's always the right time to join The Love Dare group!

I'm part of the marriage channel team!

Joining was one of the smartest things I did!

Listening to My Master's Voice

I'm 300 miles from home and received a call earlier tonight that one of our dogs is missing. Turns out she was desperate enough to find us that she made a way out of a gate that under normal circumstances, she could not fit through.

i can't get back until Sunday.

I've cried and felt so guilty but finally realized the best thing to do was pray.

i felt the Lord share "Bonita" is just looking for her Master and will return when she hears her Master's voice. He said it's all going to work out, I… Continue

The Heat is On, the Vise Handle is Turning...

I'm a visual person. I need pictures to understand a message and to convey one. The visual I have going on lately is my heart and head being placed in a vise, and the handle is turning. It's a slow turn but things are getting tight and junk is oozing out. It hurts, it's not fun, but it's a good thing. It's a God thing!

Another visual is like those campy shows from the 60's, like Batman. Our hero is bound in ropes slowly being lowered to the fire. The narrator has all the drama asking those impo… Continue

How do you juggle it all?

I'm a wife. Mom. Writer. Servant. Friend. Daughter. Sister. Advocate.

There are 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week.

The pile in our basement called our laundry tells me I'm behind, really behind!

The praise is that this month God really gave me clear direction about the future. This fall both kids will be in school full time. Whether it's a success in the world's eyes, I know I'm meant to pursue writing full time. Sounds great, right?

Yet I know the other titles in my life don't go away. Th… Continue

If any ladies are interested

On of the cyber hats I wear is columnist and group facilitator. My columns are over at Take Root and Write: Marriage: Striving for Oneness and Finding Freedom Through Surrender. The groups are at the social network, Christian Women Take Root by the same name.

Take Root has really sprung to life over at Twitter. Things have grown so fast that each Thursday night at 9pm, EST they have a carnival style chat open to all Christian women called Christian… Continue

Fessing' Up

I'm really glad to be here, but I have a confession.

The compliments regarding my page have nothing to do with me.

I realized around new year that I belonged to a few social network and my pages all looked kind of haphazard. So I took one of the networks, Praise Themes, and grabbed a CSS code that I thought would match my personality for each network. Here I chose a verse about words because that is what I do at The Cypress Times. At GodLinked I think I accidentally picked a man's theme, but i… Continue

Hi there, Julie.

Are you a member of the All About The Times group?
Do you know what The Cypress Times is all about?
Did you know that this Social Network is only a tiny part of The Cypress Times?

TheCypressTimes is a fully interactive daily online newspaper dedicated to spreading the Word of God. www.thecypresstimes.com

All About The Times is a group where you can discuss what you like about The Cypress Times. You can also discuss what you don't like and make suggestions for sections or features that you'd like to see added to The Cypress Times.

Okay, now you must have at least three questions in regard to The Cypress Times newspaper. John Winder is always happy to answer any question about www.thecypresstimes.com So, come over to the group and find some answers. If you can’t find them, leave a question in the discussion area.

Looking forward to having you apart of “All About The Times”

Just as prayer is vital in the life of a Christian and we need to make it the backbone of The Cypress Times newspaper and our Social Network Community. Paul, in his first letter to the Thessalonians, urges them to pray without ceasing (1 Th 5:17). We encourage you, to not only join us in the Prayer Room and pray for The Cypress Times on a regular basis, but also to add your own prayer requests in the Cypress Times Prayer Room. If you would like your prayer need to remain confidential, please feel free to send a message to any of the administrators of the prayer room - Chrissy, Brenda or Lynne.
