About Me
I'm a wife, mother, and daughter of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm currently enrolled at Longridge Writer's Group. When I'm not hanging out at Faithwriters, I like to read, write, and sing for my church worship team. I like chocolate chip cookies, rainy days, outdoor hikes, and really good books.
I don't remember exactly when I started writing. I just know that it's something I've been doing since I was a small child. Growing up in a dysfunctional family, journaling became my healing escape and it's what I ran to throughout my life. I was probably in the second grade when the spaceshuttle, Challenger blew up. My thoughts on this tragedy were printed in the local paper along with a handful of other students. This was my first taste of getting published and I still haven't found anything that can compare with the thrill of seeing my work in print. Since then I've grown very comfortable with the online market and my work can be seen at Faithwriters, The Cypress Times, Essentia Magazine, and FaithReaders. I am also a graduate of LongridgeWritersGroup and look forward to using the skills I've aquired to write many more quality nonfiction articles.

What Sanctity?
Forgive me while I vent, but this is heavy on my heart. I am absolutely disgusted by the latest copy of US magazine. For anyone who has seen it, you probably recognize a very pitiful Leann Rimes, lamenting over her bad choice to have an affair on her husband. The pouty expression and “married too young” caption is apparently for posterity reasons. Keep on Keeping On
I was just telling a very sweet friend exactly this...we need to just keep moving forward. It would appear that the enemy is trying to steal some of God's glory by igniting a spirit of anger or iritation in His church. You know what? Good! Amid all the social network hoopla, it can be hard to know which "club" to choose. There are so many to pick from and so many activities to become involved in. Which group should I join? Thank you, Sherry, for being a part of TCT Social Network team. The Blended Family can't be an easy group to keep active, but I do believe, and so does John Winder, that your group is important to TCT Social Network. Your prayer support means a lot to me. I look forward to having you part of the administration team again in 2010 as we strive together to make active your group.
There's going to be a change to a few of the groups in the New Year, and we'll probably meet at least one new administrator. I'm looking forward to placing that announcement in the Groups Administrators Support group in the next few weeks - before the news is announced in the particular groups, and the first Weekly Newsletter after New Year. I appreciate this team and I know you will continue to work together in harmony as we enter 2010. God bless.
We'll also be saying a sad goodbye to one of our favorites, but I'll place a separate discussion for that administrator next week so you can all share your farewells in one place.

Start working through your friends email addresses and invite those who you feel would be blessed by joining TCT Social Network. Put a message in the invite comment box and make it a personal invitation. Don't forget to let your friends know that this Social Network is part of The CypressTimes - Christian. Conservative. Online. Daily News.
